Title: Automotive Technician (Specialized in Volkswagen, Audi & Porsche)

 

Description: A & P Specialties is looking for a technician who can diagnose and repair simple and complex automotive issues and perform routine maintenance tasks for our client’s vehicles. Our company offers a competitive salary and benefits.

· Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer
· Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
· Conduct vehicle inspections and alert customers to issues that will prevent their vehicles from passing inspection
· Describe the vehicle’s condition to the customer and answer any follow-up questions
· Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
· Knowledge of workflow is a plus.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

· 5+ years’ experience performing automotive repair service specialized in Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen.
· Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs
· Have your own tools, or the ability to acquire them
· Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
· Ability to lift at least 50lbs. repeatedly
· High school diploma/GED required; ASE certification preferred
· Valid driver’s license required
